Hello!
I want to present you my watercolor illustrations created for "Silver is the Moon" book by Jennifer Durant — a children’s book based on the true story of a girl born blind who experiences the world in her own unique way.
In this project, I wanted the visuals to feel as sensory and intuitive as the story itself. I focused on soft light, a muted palette, and gentle transitions between colors to build a quiet, atmospheric mood.
My process was very fluid and organic — working with flowing paint, letting the water guide shapes and textures, and allowing imperfections to become part of the storytelling.
Thank you for watching!
